First we layed out our 2x3 stringers and chalked out lines on 19" centers.
We then cut the 2" thick foam into 2 1/2" x 3" squares.
The foam density we used was 8-13 pcf.
Next we glued the foam blocks to the stringers using contact cement following the lines that we chalked out.
We used 2x4's on edge to create the perimeter of the floor. The stringers were layed down on 16" centers and the 7/16" OSB was screwed to it.
Over top of the 1st layer of 7/16" OSB a second layer was added running in the opposite direction so that no seams overlapped.
The edge was then given a finished look by adding 2x3's to hold the mats and a 2x6 with a bullnose finish on the front of the floor.
