Do you
like playing cards? Do you like to have a great time with some great
people? Then do we have an event for you. On Saturday, February 6, the
Newmarket Budokan Judo Club is holding its first annual Euchre Tournament
at Victoria Hall in Aurora. It will be a progressive game (you keep
changing partners), so no you don't have to play with your spouse! This
event is a fundraiser for the judo club so we need your support.
(Remember we are a non-profit organization and we want to keep our rates
as low as possible.) It promises to be a great night with lots of fun,
food and prizes. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. We are
also looking for donations of prizes and the loaning of card tables. If
you think that you have something that you can donate please let us know
at the club or by e-mail in the next week or so.
For
those people that haven't played Euchre in a while, we will be holding a
refresher session in the near future. While the kids are doing judo you
can be playing cards.
If you would like
to purchase one or more tickets for yourself or someone you know, they are
available at the club. The more people we get the more fun we have!
